Yelp has added a raft of new business categories to its booking and ordering services in the US. The platform now lets you reserve your place at a VIP table at a nightclub, set up a round of golf at your favorite course, try a new outdoor activity like skydiving, send flowers and even make an appointment with a legal consultant. The company has teamed up with Vimbly, GolfNow, BloomNation, Vagaro, TableList and LegalZoom to expand its offering. It also includes a traffic simulator to help determine optimal routes for delivery vehicles, and is augmented by a mobile app for drivers that lets them track their daily schedule and progress.
