Nintendo has a new CEO following the death of Satoru Iwata

Two months after Nintendo CEO, Satoru Iwata, tragically passed away at 55, the company has announced his successor: Tatsumi Kimishima. Kimishima previously worked at The Pokémon Company, before heading up Nintendo’s America business from 2002 to 2006 and later becoming Managing Director of Nintendo itself in April 2013. Iwata was a much-loved figure at Nintendo who deeply cared about the company and the products it built — he even got his hands dirty on multiple occasions and coded some games himself.
